Our Story
Oasis Backyard Farms was founded in 2009 by Renee Mongiovi and has created hundreds of organic gardens for the families and business of Monmouth County and across other parts of New Jersey. I began working for Renee in 2018 as the garden manager and became the Owner/Operator of OBF in 2019. We are committed to using all organic products from the building materials, seeds, soil and growing practices in order to create and maintain a chemical free environment for healthy crops to thrive! OBF is involved in all phases of garden installation including; site assessment, design, installation and maintenance. We customize our services to cater to your areas needs so you can grown your own vegetables right in your backyard. We have also worked to renovate or freshen up existing gardens to get you ready for planting. Our clients are able to choose from a variety of crops that we grown from seed in our greenhouse. Our goal is to satisfy each clients particular needs and help them provide healthy, organic food for the people who are most important to them. We are looking forward to helping you create the garden of your dreams! |
Hi, my name is David Druze, I am the Owner/Operator of Oasis Backyard Farms. Born and raised in Monmouth County, New Jersey, my passion for agriculture began at home when I was a child in my family garden. After high school I moved to San Diego, California to attend college where I studied Environmental Science and Environmental Sustainability. While I was in school I was given the opportunity to work for a small company that provided home vegetable gardening services and taught agriculture programs at various elementary schools throughout San Diego County. In 2018 I returned to New Jersey to continue my education and graduated with honors from Stockton University in 2021 with a degree in Environmental Science with a concentration in Environmental Quality. With over a decade of professional experience, it is my goal to aid families in the cultivation of healthy, nutrient dense crops right in their own backyards.
